Hi, I’m alive

So its been 40 days since arriving in Brazil. and believe me when I tell you that it’s been intense, embarrassing, funny, sad and exciting. Exchange, so far, has brought out so many emotions in me I didn’t even know existed.

I’ve met so many amazing people, unfortunately, I can barely remember anyone’s names. I’ve visited many places including Sao Paulo, the family farm and explored my beautiful town. My town is lovely, except it rains constantly, which I mean isn’t entirely a bad thing because I love rain. In fact, it’s raining right now, what a coinkydink.

I will insert a few pictures of my adventures:

The view from my walk around town with friends.
My 1st host families farm.
The biggest church in Franca and it is in the middle of the town.
The farm got a new dog to help out, his name is Billy.
I went horseriding, on the farm, for the first time in about 5 years. This horse was very stubborn, not impressed man.
What I see almost every afternoon from my balcony šŸ™‚
My host sister Julia’s going away party. She is in Katoomba on exchange in Australia.
Mel and I.
A very low-quality photo of toucans, I’m very sorry. But I took this just outside the family farm.
And lastly my favourite late-night snack, a vegemite roll.

Love the vegemite roll! Sounds like you are settling in and getting to know your surroundings, the farm and your town. How are you enjoying school?
Lots of love
Christine
